General Tips:
For Yuffie, I equipped Fuma Shuriken and Aerith is using Gambanteinn. Materia doesn't seem to have much effect here (e.g. ATB Boost doesn't work), but some accessories do. You can equip the Chocoking's Cape to at least get 1 ATB bar at the beginning. You should have most of ATB skills unlocked, since some of them will be crucial to eliminating the Cactuars quicker.
For Yuffie, when she is doing ranged magic attacks, try to position Yuffie close to other Magituars so they can be hit by the blades spinning around Yuffie. Also, always try to get the highest attack combo going (for Yuffie and Aerith), because the later attacks hit more enemies and do more damage. Try not to get hit too many times, as that will deduct from your overall score.
