Fey O! is a traditional Haitian Voodoo song, rooted in rich spiritual and cultural history. This arrangement by Ethan Sperry brings new life to the piece while honouring its rhythmic drive, call-and-response energy, and ceremonial origins.
Through layered vocals and dynamic textures, Fey O! reflects themes of community, devotion, and ancestral connection that are central to Haitian Voodoo music. This performance aims to respect the tradition while presenting it in a contemporary choral setting

A little bit about the Only Boys Aloud (OBA) Academi. Members of the OBA Academi all audition for their place and we work them incredibly hard during a week's residential stay. They start the week without knowing one note of the music and learn the entire concert repertoire from scratch during their residential. They receive two individual singing lessons, five sessions of music theory, movement and dance sessions. The boys work incredibly hard and we are always exceedingly proud of what they achieve during their week together. Thank you to all the boys and the amazing team of Aloud staff. Craig Yates.
