FBG Duck’s mom went live on her YouTube channel early on Wednesday morning (‘MOMMA DUCK CLOUT CHASER SLAYER’) to reveal that multiple suspects in the death of her son have been identified and arrested by authorities.
She claimed that O-Block rapper Muwop was among the suspects being linked to Duck’s homicide, and also mentioned other O-Block affiliates by name. She claimed she was contacted by “the feds” at 5:57 am in the morning and was told that 5 suspects have been identified, the majority are in custody and one is still being looked for by authorities.
In her 8 minute live video she said the reveal of the suspects being arrested was going to be “breaking news” at some point in the future, so major Chicago news outlets will presumably provide coverage of this story in the coming days. She reacted to the news with joy and tears, saying "my son was k****d by some kids" & the suspects’ mothers can still visit them when they are locked up, but she “can’t see [her] son”.
Duck was shot and passed away in August of last year (2020) while shopping in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighbourhood. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and was pronounced after being rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. FBG Duck was one of the most recognizable figures in the Chicago Drill scene, and his premature death at the age of 26 shocked his friends and family and supporters worldwide. Duck was signed to a major record label in the years prior to his death, and was only just beginning to live his life as a famous entertainer when it was cut short.
