Description
Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift Construction and animation/ huge Layout update! With major layout changes, yahoo! Construction continues to move quickly on Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift at Universal Studios Orlando, Florida. Additional track and supports have been put in place. The latest progress also shows us the coaster's final general layout.
Previous layout predictions connected several elements in a way that would have required unusually long dispatch intervals, resulting in lower ride capacity than expected.
However, here I explain how we are instead heading into the overbank/cutback after the massive 170-foot spike; and the coaster may feature a large connecting element that links us back towards this overbank/cutback, before continuing through the finale of the course.

The Intamin coaster will utilize its new drifting ride vehicles, with the first launch believed to immediately rotate riders before sending them over the Universal Plaza stage. While the complete layout has yet to be confirmed, the newest construction supports a flow that appears to make far more operational sense than earlier predictions
