A whole year without any upload and then I randomly drop this out of everything I could've uploaded? Well let me explain, or at least try to.
This will be a story about this channel, what happened to it and where it is now. It's quite long, I've added a TL;DR at the bottom.
In 2016 (when I was 16) I made this channel to dump shitposts on it, like actual shitposts, low quality videos, mostly ear rxpe, memes that weren't even supposed to be funny and maybe a youtube poop here and there. At the time I was heavily into memes, especially on instagram so at some point I decided to just slap my favorites together and upload them as meme compilations, mainly to show them to my friends. (Fun fact, I was one of the first ~5 people to do it, together with memefarmer and emisoccer)
A few days after, almost over night, my channel blew up and I was sitting at around 10k subscribers. Which was great, don't get me wrong, but it also put unwanted pressure on me. The pressure to upload the same content over and over because that's what people wanted.
At some point that wasn't possible anymore, youtube's guidelines have gotten more strict and I almost lost my channel so I had to switch my content even though 99% of my subscribers came for the memes. So I decided to upload something that I was... well... somewhat decent at and that I thought everyone loved... music.
Uploading music worked out for me, I didn't gain many subs from that but once again - that was never the goal. But then history repeated itself and my XXXTENTACION beat blew up and brought a whole lot of new subscribers. It was great at the time, having millions of views and thousands of new subscribers every week felt awesome, but that's also what killed my channel.
So here I was, ~30k subscribers, half of them from memes and half of them from a single video. I tried to deliver more music as this was the last type of content that I could hold onto but people lost interest. I went from 200k views per video to 2k views per video in about 2 years.
I lost motivation in beat producing, not only because of the views but also because I wasn't really interested in rap anymore. I moved to hardcore, uptempo and frenchcore, which weren't super well received from my community because they weren't used to this type of music.
So in the end I had a fanbase... or that what was left of it, of people who wanted beats or memes, which I couldn't deliver. I didn't know what else to upload because my channel was already dead at this point. In addition to that my life took a few turns here and there and I basically didn't really have time to make videos anyway.
I'm sorry about how this all turned out, it wasn't my plan to have the channel die like this, but oh well... can you even blame me when the channel wasn't supposed to be big in first place?
I don't know if I will upload here again, I probably will, I just can't give you guys any ETA.

I made this channel to show memes to my friends, it blew up twice, I had a split fanbase, I couldn't deliver what they wanted, they lost interest, the channel died, I wrote a text about it and you're reading it right now.
Will this be my last video? Yes and no. It will be - for now.
