supreme Court’s ruling in U.S. v. Skrmetti allowed a Tennessee ban on gender-affirming care for minors (while allowing the same treatments such as hormones and puberty blockers for other diagnoses) in June of 2025. Less than a year later, as of March 2026, we are seeing an attack on Trans adults access to care too under TennCare. This isn't a Tennessee specific issue, we are seeing access to gender-affirming care dwindle across the country. This is why we need @plannedparenthood centers now more than ever for essential care for the trans community.
