LYRICS:
Left my body at home
All I brought was my shame
Hoped someone would call me again
Left my body at home
All I brought was my shame
I’ll escape to better places
Nowhere to leave my own heart
Half heartbreak
Half celebration
Nowhere to leave my own heart
Had better days
Had better days
When I was younger
Had better days
Had better days
I felt it stronger
Carving my name
Carving my name
In the sky
Had better days
Had better days
When I was younger
My heart is rusted
I’ve got
No blood
Just red dust
I find I wear the hours
On my skin
On my skin!
Had better days
Had better days
When I was younger
Had better days
Had better days
I felt it stronger
Carving my name
Carving my name
In the sky
Had better days
Had better days
When I was younger
I want to leave my bones in the past
I want to leave my bones in the past
Had better days
Had better days
When I was younger
Had better days
Had better days
I felt it stronger
Had better days
Had better days
When I was younger
Had better days
Had better days
I felt it stronger
Carving my name
Carving my name
In the sky
Had better days
Had better days
When I was younger
Left my body at home
All I brought was my shame
