Lose Yourself is one of those songs you're probably not supposed to play like this.
So naturally, I played it like this.
One acoustic guitar. Percussion. Melody. Rap. And a slightly questionable approach to how a guitar is meant to be played.
Eminem created one of the most instantly recognisable and intense songs ever written. I wanted to see if I could take that energy and rebuild it around one acoustic guitar — while actually attempting the rap at the same time.
This is my version of Lose Yourself.
I've gone back to this performance, reworked the audio and given the video a new life. The original upload never really captured how much I liked this arrangement.
