And now for a roller coaster video that isn't No Limits 2.
Welcome to my first (custom) Microcoaster layout. Think I might overall like it better than K'nex so far, tho I think there might still be some aspects of K'nex I like better (especially if I ever make a layout I can put Clovercoaster's custom trains on, which are cheaper and feel a little more durable, and I may or may not have found a way to make a K'nex/Microcoaster hybrid).
Out of all my attempts to build a custom model coaster over the years (which I've often lost motivation on either due to space issues, parts, lack of rigidity, or just dissatisfaction with the carts only being able to travel more than 1 or 2 elements after the main drop if I'm lucky), this was the farthest I got and featured the most elements after the main drop while maintaining pacing (probably longer than the default layout showcased in the instruction booklet while being roughly the same height). I did run out of pieces, hence the woodsies with a small strip of styrene stapled over it. Just felt like making do with what I had since the shipping price is kind of crazy and I prefer to be conservative with resources if I can. I feel like I have a disproportionate amount of extra cars, spine, rails, and ties compared to supports, support accessories, foundation pieces, and track connectors.
I quite dislike how the slow motion clip looks lower quality compared to the regular speed clips (despite also being 1080p) but I didn't really wanna not include it either. IDK what to do about that.
The lit-up model of the Eiffel Tower was a separate craft project but I figured it would serve as a neat visual.
