Description
The new Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is sharper, more focused and packed with performance upgrades. Its 999cc engine produces 217 PS and 114 Nm, and now gets a variable intake system designed to improve mid-range torque as well as top-end performance.
Honda has also revised the aluminium frame and swingarm rigidity to improve agility and lap times on the racetrack. The SP gets electronically adjustable Öhlins suspension, Brembo brakes and an aggressive new design.
We also take a closer look at the standard Fireblade, the HRC colourway and the carbon-fibre-equipped HRC Works Edition.
