Description
When installing new brake pads into your old calipers, you’ll need to compress the caliper pistons back into the body of the caliper to allow the new, thicker pads room to fit inside the caliper.
You’ll need either a piston compressor or large c-clamp to do this. Some makes and models will require a caliper piston adjuster.
Follow along with the process in this video and you’ll be well on your way to completing your brake job.
