In this tutorial I'm sharing my cheap DIY lighting setup for soft, cinematic lighting. If you're a broke filmmaker and you still want that netflix-level quality on your interviews or talking heads, give it a try.
By using what I call the "Temu-Booklight-Technique" you can get rid of hotspots, achieve a smoother highlight roll-off and make your videos look better than by getting another expensive light or softbox.
