So many wine glasses available at Dollar store to paint a unique design on them...give as gifts or just keep yourself.
Love painting on wine glasses and I only use Folk Art Enamel paint or Multipurpose paint for glass.
First coat usually goes on transparent, but don't worry your going to dry it and build up your design with a second coat.
The Third coat should only be for highlights and details. Too many coats will cause it to feel bumpy.
Once your done, you need to cure the paint by baking it. Some of the paints will have the directions on the label.
I put them in a cold oven - set the temp for 350 and time it for 45 minutes. Once the timer goes off I turn the oven off, open the door and wait till the glasses are cooled.
Some people might put a sealer on it before baking...but I haven't had any issues and they usually are top rack dishwasher safe. But remember that all hand painted will last much longer if its hand washed and taken care off, If you paint mugs its also microwavable safe.
