DIY plywood wall-mount wifi router network rack

Description

Marine plywood makes an excellent material for a wall-mounted Wi-Fi router rack. It’s far more affordable—and significantly sturdier—than flimsy, ready-made steel open-frame network racks. This simple home improvement project neatly organizes and securely mounts all networking equipment in one place, eliminating messy, dangling cables. It’s ideal for housing ISP fiber-optic modem routers, aftermarket Wi-Fi 7 routers, PoE switches, and camera network video recorders (NVRs), while also allowing for easy access, proper ventilation, and future upgrades.
