We needed a very long, custom curtain rod (15 feet) for our space. We decided to make our own out of 3/4" black steel pipe which can be found at the hardware store. We broke it down into 3 sections (over each window) so we could work with it in our space. This DIY curtain rod is very sturdy, beautiful, and easy to put together. It gives the room an industrial, modern feel.
