This video shows you how to use the new UI driven CiaJeepDoors tool. This will remove DroneID on DJI aircraft.

I am not necessarily against DroneID or RemoteID. It probably has a place, especially around airports, prisons or other sensitive locations. However, I am against DJI making the software, regulating it, enforcing it, and profiting all in the same breath. Especially when they share mistruths about DroneID, its capabilities, and don't provide pilots flexibility needed for their locale and privacy reasons.
DJI needs to provide pilots with a self-service unlock tool, just like fly safe.
Limitations
===================================================
-This only works on Android
- iOS Devices will reset the DroneID setting. There is no solution (yet)
- DJI has patched this in newer versions of DLY Fly and DJI Go. Use FLy v1.5.10 or GO4 v4.3.48 or earlier (download links in comments)
- Some newer Firmware also resets the setting
- Dont update firmware or DJI App if you don't need to!
- Dont open RemoteID settings in the DJI Go or FLY app
