Private matches are counting for rep and bounties. You can farm power, weapons, or whatever you want using the method in the video. BONUS TIP: PUT PROSPERITY ON YOUR GHOST (last column which gives a chance to drop additional gear)
For some reason I was getting less rep than my teammates while playing on Warlock, so I switched to Hunter. Not sure if this is a bug with Warlocks or just me, but figured I would let you know
