Life has changed a lot since my last Day in the Life of a Cybersecurity Analyst video. I’m officially on paternity leave, adjusting to life as a new dad, spending time bonding with my son, and learning how to balance family, career growth, health, and building something of my own.
In this video, I’m taking you through a realistic day in my life during this new season. Even though I’m stepping away from my normal role in IT Risk Management and cybersecurity, I’m not stepping away from learning. Over the next few months, I plan to continue building my technical skills, work toward a couple of certifications, dive deeper into AI security, cloud security, networking, and emerging technology risk, and become a more well-rounded cybersecurity professional.
I’m also using this time to take my business and personal brand more seriously. Between YouTube, cybersecurity, technology, fatherhood, fitness, and career development, I’m trying to build a future that gives me more skills, more opportunities, and more freedom for my family.
This season is different. My schedule is different. My priorities are different. But the goal is still the same: keep learning, keep growing, and keep building.
