Description
Dallas Jenkins filmmaker, writer, director, and creator of the hit series The Chosen joins Pete Holmes for a fascinating episode of You Made It Weird!
Dallas is the creative force behind The Chosen, the groundbreaking historical drama that brings the life of Jesus Christ and the people who knew him to the screen. Through intimate storytelling, richly developed characters, and a distinctly human approach to biblical history, Dallas has helped introduce the story of Jesus to audiences around the world.
Pete and Dallas explore the intersection of faith, creativity, storytelling, and the human experience. From the challenges of portraying Jesus on screen to the relationship between art and spirituality, this conversation offers plenty to consider about belief, doubt, purpose, and the stories that shape our understanding of the world.
Dallas is also preparing for the highly anticipated sixth season of The Chosen, premiering November 15, 2026, on Prime Video. Season 6 follows the final 24 hours of Jesus' life leading to the crucifixion, with the story culminating in a special theatrical film event in spring 2027.
Plus, Dallas and his team are expanding the world of The Chosen with new projects, including the upcoming Christmas special The Chosen: The Three Kings.
Whether you're a devoted fan of The Chosen, interested in filmmaking and storytelling, or simply curious about the intersection of faith, art, and humanity, this episode is for you.
Watch The Chosen Season 6 beginning November 15 on Prime Video.
