When Ezrah was an infant her Grammy came to visit. She bought Ezrah a stuffed, musical bear at Dillard’s that played this song because she wanted Ezrah to know that even when she’s a State away, she will always love her. Something so sweet happened when she squeezed the bears paw and it started singing. Ezrah puckered up and cried. Every single time. You could tell the music touched her heart. As a teenager she played this song for me in the car and It was my turn for tears in my eyes. Her Grammy passed away several years ago. Ezrah didn’t really remember the bear but the song, once again touched her heart. I told her the story. I’m sure that bear is stored away somewhere and I can’t wait to give it to her again. Her Grammy was her biggest fan. Front and center for every single performance. Would even ask her to perform for strangers or her Drs and nurses when she was in the hospital. Her Grammy would probably play this video for everyone she knows a hundred times or more if she was still here. She was her “song.” That’s another story though.
