WE’RE BACK!!

We’ve been cooking up a storm in the Sutherland household and we’re excited to be hitting record and sharing what we’re making with all of you!

I will be listing the Ingredients used below but will not be including all measurements as a lot were totally wung 🤪

We’re sharing our cooking as more inspiration for meal time, rather than educational cooking tutorials.

The end result on the banana bread should say it all 🙃 lmao who could have ever seen that coming 😆

Remember the part where I said “I’ve never seen a banana bread I didn’t like” … well I may have met the loaf 😬🤣

Although it tasted great and didn’t last past the day, so it was still a win!

And the burritos, OMG WERE THEY EVER DELISH!!!

They provided the perfect easy meal throughout the week and heated up beautifully from the freezer 😋

Details for both below:

The Banana Bread was a recipe from Pinterest. (I added white chocolate chips)

I took my bread out 12 minutes early and it was burnt to a crisp on the outside.

Sooo keep a close eye on yours if you decide to use this recipe.

BURRITOS

We made beef ones and refried bean ones!

RICE INGREDIENTS:

3 cups rice
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup water
Tumeric
Cumin
Dried Cilantro
Vegetable Oil
Oregano
Salt

BEEF:

Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Cumin
Chili Flakes
Paprika

QUESO

Jalapeño
Garlic
Butter
Flour
Milk
Nacho Cheese
Salt

Refried Bean were just warmed up ☺️

We were able to make 10 wraps (5 of each kind) and topped them with fresh cilantro to finish.

The fresh cilantro was a game changer and created such a beautiful fresh flavour upon reheat!

We wrapped the burrito’s and threw them into the freezer.

To prepare I threw the frozen burrito into the microwave on the defrost dinner Setting for a couple minutes, turning every 20 seconds until mostly defrosted.

Then I heat up some oil in a pan and fried the burritos on medium heat until golden brown.

I LOVED these and can see us making these a lot!
