Comparing the fastest two runs with the 32in front wheel and the 29in front wheel

While it’s far from a definitive test, the 32in wheel Frankenbike gave us the fastest run times on the day against the Specialized Levo Evo with a 29in front wheel. In the comparison video above you can see the fastest two runs on each bike compared, with the 32in bike at the top. The green bar indicates the time gap between the two runs. We did 3 timed runs on each bike (after several warm up runs) and the 32in wheel bike produced the fastest two times, while the 29er had the slowest run of the day. Watch the full video for all the pros and cons, and for the record, we don’t think the advantages are worth the disadvantages for most riders.
