Description
Very close lightning strike captured during an intense thunderstorm over the Darwin area. Unfortunately the lightning strike occurred at the EXACT moment I was wiping the raindrops from the lens!!! I have impeccable timing :(((
I have slowed the video down with screen grabs to show there was actually two discharges, one initially on the right of the frame and the second one on the left.
