This tutorial will show you how to check your airbag or abs light codes for free at home without using a scanner or having to go to the dealership!
All you need is a paper clip or a spliced wire.
This tutorial works on seventh generation Honda Civics (2001-2005) and may still work on other generations of Honda and Acura, but make sure to check online.
If you're following this tutorial for a check engine light, I recommend you head over to autozone or advance auto because it's a lot easier to pull the code there. This tutorial is great because these stores don't check airbag or abs system codes.
Honda offers a lifetime warranty to replace the seatbelts in the vehicle. If you find out this is a problem with the seatbelt, you should be able to get this fixed for free! Just call the nearest Honda service center.
