CAILLOU, BALLAD OF THE STONES // An animated film project
In a world haunted by the scars of the past, a little girl known as Caillou embarks on a journey across a land of forgotten temples. Carrying small stones gathered along the way, she seeks to honor the memory of her lost family, one stone at a time.
But the past refuses to remain buried. As the people responsible for her family's murder close in, fragments of buried memories begin to resurface, revealing the dark truth behind her tragic past.
A journey of grief, survival, and self-discovery, Ballad of the Stones is a two-minute animated trailer for a potential feature film, brought to life through ambitious 2D animation and a world where every stone holds a memory.
