Ballpark de Tsukamaete! or Catch Me at the Ballpark! was one of the many great shows I watched last year. I don't really know how baseball works but that really did not hinder my enjoyment watching this charming show weekly.
Being a fan of the manga, I was so surprised and happy when the anime was announced.
It may not have the most budget to be the best looking show at times but it makes up for it with tremendous heart and passion each episode. I smiled, I cheered and I cried for this fictional baseball team and all the fun characters we got acquainted with. I especially loved the food vendor girl who wants to show off her legs.
And of course, our lovable main couple provides the feel good romance that I simply cannot get enough of. I desperately want a season 2 someday and I want to know how their relationship has progressed in the manga.
