On the 25th of June the European Commission wrote to the five Caribbean countries that sell citizenship, asking them to phase out their programmes by the 1st of June 2028. If they don't, visa-free access to Schengen is what's on the table. The EU has done this before: Vanuatu lost its visa-free travel and was then taken off the list entirely. Existing passports don't get revoked, but what they let you do can change.
Of course, the powers that be in the European Union and elsewhere, they don't like this because they don't want you to have options. (0:28) Thank you.
