Turlough O'Carolan was an irish musician born in Co Meath in 1670 and is regarded as one of the finest composers and harpists that Ireland has ever produced.
'O'Carolan's Air' is also known by a number of different titles, including 'Carolan's Welcome', and 'Carden's Welcome'.
