Carl Martin's Tone Tweaker offers guitar-friendly 3 Band EQ, placed at 40Hz, 1kHz and 10kHZ (Bass, Middle and Treble) as well as a clean ±12dB Level control. This gives you a serious utility with which to carve and tailor your amp's tone. My favourite way to use it is to gun the Middle and Level controls while backing off the Bass and Treble, which gives a sort of faux Treble Booster - something that the likes of Rory Gallagher, Brian May, Tony Iommi and other classic guitarists use or used often in their heyday. But you could apply the Tone Tweaker to just about any instrument and it will find a use. Even just turning it on with all knobs neutral will give you great clean buffer. The Tone Tweaker is a no-brainer Swiss Army Knife for your tone. Winner.
