📌 In this project, I upgraded my DIY mini CNC plotter and solved one of the biggest limitations in 3D printing: build size. By splitting large models into smaller parts, you can print beyond your printer’s limits and assemble them later. This version uses an Arduino Nano, stepper drivers, and a simple breadboard setup instead of a custom PCB. The X and Y axes were redesigned for better movement, and the working area is now expanded to around 400 x 400 mm. Since my @BambuLab A1 has a smaller build volume, I used the split tool in #bambustudio . With proper settings, large parts can be divided, printed separately, and assembled with precision.
