Join Charlotte Griffiths as she takes an exclusive tour of Kate's Cudyll Cymru Survey Area at her home in South Wales. Charlotte discovers why Kate was so keen to take part in this brand new BTO survey and learns about the raptor species she sees in her garden and the neighbouring Nature Reserve.
Cudyll Cymru is a Welsh raptor monitoring initiative which monitors the populations and breeding productivity of five species which are widespread in Wales: Buzzard, Kestrel, Raven, Red Kite and Sparrowhawk. Although technically a Corvid species, Raven is included because of its ecological similarities to raptors.
