So, most people getting married have a first dance... We met playing Beat Saber Multiplayer, so we broke the standard marriage tradition and had a "First Play" instead!
We actually met exactly three years prior to this ceremony on May 4, 2021. May the 4th be with us indeed lol. We only met in person for the first time over Thanksgiving of 2021. We officially married on November 16, 2022. That was just your basic courthouse wedding tho. We saw each other off and on over the next several years as we started a process of her immigration to the USA, and we wanted something a little more fun and involving her extended family in The Netherlands and Belgium, so we had THIS ceremony, which wasn't like most wedding ceremonies but then we're not like most people lol. So that was fun, and she officially moved in with me permanently in August of 2024. "And they lived happily ever after" but the story continues as it always does lol.
