Rapper Boosie BadAzz (Torrence Hatch) is currently fighting to recover $300,000 after being scammed by conservative political operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman. Boosie paid them $600,000 in late 2025 in exchange for securing a presidential pardon for his federal gun charge. [1, 2]

The operatives told Boosie's team that the pardon was approved and would be announced soon, but it never came.
