I made a controller that lets me directly control the BMW i3 Rex. Not for sale, but I'll probably release the code at some point. Please don't hassle me, this is a side project and I have a day job.
This will allow the BMW Rex to be used as a stand-alone 300-400VDC generator. I think it should be able to put out about 25kW peak. One could also equip this with a NACS or CCS interface and use it to emergency charge an EV in remote locations.
