Description
A mysterious arena has appeared in the middle of Voya Nui, with two new elemental powers fighting for survival. Matoro, the Inika Toa of Ice, uses a portal to enter it and so begins one of his toughest battles. Watch this Bionicle animation featuring Matoro, Nuparu, and other Toa in the land of Bionicle. This is the follow up to Bionicle Fall of Virtues, The Possession, The Duel of Fates and the Storm of Fatality.
The story so far:
In the aftermath of a fierce battle with Marduk's forces, Matoro asks Nuparu to eliminate Marduk, who has retreated to the enigmatic Tehranak Forest. Nuparu, delving into the heart of Marduk's lair, becomes entangled with a dark symbiote, transforming under its malevolent influence. Now corrupted, Nuparu returns to the Bionicle, using the symbiote's power to subjugate them, including capturing Matoro himself. Nuparu, now a puppet of darkness, fights Matoro in an epic duel. Matoro beheads Nuparu, but the symbiote escapes, only to possess the victor. Corrupted, Matoro unleashes havoc, nearly annihilating the Toa, save for Hewkii. This cataclysmic event tears open a time-space portal, merging past and future, setting the stage for a final showdown between Hewkii and Matoro, ending in mutual destruction. Revived in the Bionicle Underworld, Matoro encounters Nuparu and Hewkii. Nuparu, in his bid for ultimate power, attempts to reignite the symbiote within Matoro to revive his own. Successfully stabbing Matoro, he releases the symbiotes, setting the stage for chaos as the Barakki transform into a monstrous entity bent on destroying all Bionicle. Matoro, now wielding the unleashed power, confronts and defeats the Barakki beast. In a climactic rematch with Nuparu, Matoro triumphs, absorbing the symbiote's full might. With this power, Matoro resurrects the fallen Toa, restoring balance but forever changed by the dark forces he once battled.
