Belize’s national men’s volleyball team is one step closer to capturing gold at the Central American Men’s Final Four tournament in San José, Costa Rica. After a hard-fought five-set victory over Costa Rica and a straight-sets win against Nicaragua, Team Belize remains in strong contention for the championship. Team captain Elton Anderson credits the squad’s success to months of preparation, discipline, and trust in the coaching staff’s game plan. With matches against Panama and a championship showdown still ahead, the team says morale is high as players look to build on last year’s second-place finish and bring home the tournament title.
