This Largo is from my upcoming recording of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major, Op. 15, to be released on July 24, 2026.
Although this is Beethoven’s first published piano concerto, it already reveals the individuality and imagination that would define his mature voice. The Largo opens a very different world from the outer movements—lyrical, spacious, intimate, and quietly profound.
