Description
Hello there!!!! It's been over a year since my last Youtube video, but I'm back with a new video... and HOPEFULLY some new videos soon, if you guys want to see more regular uploads :)
Ingredients:
Ginger-Banana-Bread:
1 3/4 cups mashed banana- I only had 3 bananas :(
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup milk of choice or oil- I recommend oil to make it more MOIST
1/4 cup pure maple syrup, agave, or honey- I used maple syrup
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
3/4 tsp salt
Crumb Topping:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
4 tbsp butter
Glaze:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp (or less) milk
Baking Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line pan with parchment paper or grease pan. Whisk the first 6 ingredients together in a bowl, then set aside. In a separate large bowl, stir remaining ingredients together. Pour wet over dry, stir until evenly mixed, and smooth into the pan. If you want a thin crumb layer, pour half of batter, followed by half of crumb topping, then pour remaining batter into pan, and put remaining crumb topping on top. Baking time depends on size of baking pan. My pan was 8x8 in and bake time was 30-35 minutes. Once baked, take out of oven, cool, and put on glaze. I didn't let cool, so my glaze basically seeped in immediately, but still super tasty!!!
OBVIOUSLY I am no baking pro, this is just me baking and sharing my tips and recipe to you :)
