A Backyard Miracle Unfolds 🌳🐦
This morning, I woke up, slipped on my favorite 02:12 Amazon rain boots (you can find them on my Amazon storefront https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2CPIGJRSCWB7Y?ref_=wl_share and stepped outside to check on my backyard project. If you saw my last video, you know I’ve been working hard to turn this space into a thriving wildlife sanctuary. I’ve been battling clay mud to grow lush grass, raking in fresh soil, and planting grass seeds (all from Amazon, of course). The grass is finally starting to sprout, and it’s looking greener every day yay!
But the real magic? My birdhouses and squirrel houses! I installed four birdhouses and one squirrel house a while back, hoping to give the local critters a safe place to call home. I even sprinkled some bird feed in the squirrel house to make it extra inviting. And today, for the first time, I saw a miracle: four adorable baby squirrels snuggled up in the squirrel house! I couldn’t believe my eyes. I stood there, grinning ear to ear, watching their tiny tails twitch as they snoozed. Not just one, but FOUR! I felt like a proud mama.
And that’s not all my #birdhouses are buzzing with activity too! Bluebirds, woodpeckers, red robins, and even crows are flying in and out, making themselves at home. I spotted a pair of bluebirds carrying twigs into one of the houses, probably building a nest for their own little family. It’s like a wildlife party back there, and I’m the host! I also have two bunnies hopping around, munching on the grass, and a #falcon that likes to perch on the tallest pine tree, keeping an eye on everything. Oh, and I’ve seen a few snakes slithering through don’t worry, they’re harmless, just looking for a snack!
Building a Sanctuary, One Step at a Time 🐇🌻
My goal is to make this one acre lot a natural, #beautiful #habitat for all these wild animals. Birds are so essential to the #ecosystem they’re like nature’s pest control! During mosquito season, they swoop in and eat up all the bugs, keeping my backyard bite free. I’ve been dreaming of growing wildflowers back here to add even more color and attract more pollinators like bees and butterflies. Now, let’s talk about the stars of my backyard the pine trees! I’ve got a ton of them scattered across my lot, and they’re the perfect backdrop for my wildlife sanctuary. I don’t have an exact count, but there are a lot, and they’re all tall, proud pines with soft, green needles. Since you guys love fun facts, I thought I’d share some!

Isn’t that pine tree story the best? I love how my pines are such superheroes for the environment making oxygen, providing food, and giving all my animal friends a place to live. My backyard is truly a safe haven, and I’m so excited to keep it growing. With those four baby squirrels, my birds, bunnies, falcon, and even the snakes, I feel like I’m living in a nature documentary every week! 30:00
