Not even three months after the launch of the M2S motor, Avinox is showing its next development; an MGU that could spell the death of the derailleur. It’s a eCVT design with step-free changes between defined limits. No word on weight, power, or gear range yet, but it’s unlikely to have less power than the M2S. It’s being shown on a Commencal Meta Power SX frame, presumably with 160mm travel and MX wheels. Our guess is that this will be released in spring or summer 2027. Exciting times!
