Description
I created a song called ‘Chiaroscuro’ entirely from scratch the guitar, synth, pads, mixing, and mastering. This is my first time handling every step of the process, so I’m still learning, but I’m getting better every day I feel like so I wanted to go ahead and share this.
The term ‘Chiaroscuro’ refers to the balance of light and shadow, often used in art to create depth and contrast. I wanted to capture that in the song, blending bright, hopeful moments with darker, more introspective tones. To me, it reflects the journey of everyday life and sometimes you have to move through the darkness to reach the light, and it’s in that contrast that meaning and beauty are found.
