Description
Bogotá, Colombia. Acrylic nails. A world washed in pink. The faint sound of bolero drifts through a nail salon.
In this audio described dance film, Más Glow explores beauty standards, the rules imposed on women's bodies and the power of taking up space. As everyday gestures inside the salon transform into increasingly monstrous movement, four women begin to challenge expectations and break the rules of how they are expected to behave.
Created as part of The Floor Is Yours commission series, the film premiered at Dance Digital film festival. Following a public callout in 2025, three artists were selected to create original short dance films exploring how movement can appear in everyday life and unexpected places.
