Description
4th track from "It Never Rains in Southern California: More 70's Hits" (2018). It's that odd little turn of phrase "voodoo in the vibes" that inspires this bit of spooky fun with voodoo/Día de los Muertos pics and an alternate recording of ARS's 1977 number seven hit. I would have used the original recording if only it were available. But apparently new uploads of it are currently blocked on YouTube due to copyright restrictions, which kinda sucks. But to tell the truth, I really like this extended version and barely notice the difference—especially with all those horribly distracting, hot (cold?) sugar skull babes that keep walking into the, uh... into the, uh...
Uh, what was I saying?
Well, anyway(!) XD
On a more serious note, I should probably mention that I understand now why Michael Jackson added that disclaimer to his Thriller video. You know, the one that says: "Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this film in no way endorses a belief in the occult." It's because he wanted to entertain people without leading them down the wrong path. Same here (except I'm not a Jehovah's Witness). The popular notion of voodoo is fun in the movies, but as far as I'm concerned, charms and spells, mediums, fortune telling, tarot, communicating with the dead, etc. are all just ways the Devil fools people into inviting him in. The Bible is pretty clear—DON'T DO IT! All that stuff may seem innocent enough in the beginning but the Devil always brings misery and death in the end. So stay away from all that rot in real life, okay?

"There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD; and because of these detestable things the LORD your God will drive them out before you."

"So in to You" is a 1977 hit single by the Atlanta Rhythm Section. It was the first release from their sixth studio LP, A Rock and Roll Alternative.
The song became their greatest hit, reaching number seven on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and spending two weeks at number five on Cash Box. It did best in Canada, where it reached number two on the Pop singles chart, blocked from the top spot only by "Hotel California". "So in to You" was also a hit on the Adult Contemporary charts of both nations. It reached number 11 on the U.S. AC chart and number 12 on the Canadian AC chart.
In "So in to You," the singer admits an instant and mysteriously compelling attraction to a stranger entering the room, and is unable to focus on anything else. He attempts to gain the stranger's attention, hoping that they will be able to make a personal connection and that the "vibe" he feels will be mutual.
