Experience the American Revolutionary war through the eyes of Connor, a native American Assassin, in one of the most iconic stories in the series. This is a movie edit of the full story of the game Assassin's Creed III. This movie will look best on an HDR capable device with the brightness turned up all the way in a dark environment, but I've also provided a custom SDR grade for devices that don't support HDR.

This new version was made in 4K and HDR, using mods to remove the rest of the HUD that I wasn't able to remove back in 2013, and made use of better graphical settings and an improved frame pacing and motion blur for a film-like 24fps look.
If you're unfamiliar with my work, I'm attempting to take the story of a game and present it in a way that can be understood and enjoyed whether you have played the game or not, or even if you don't play games at all. I try my best to get the experience as close as possible to watching a Hollywood movie. I focus on the main story, with only as much gameplay as is necessary to supporting that story without causing plot holes or pacing issues. I also try to do as much to make my gameplay look cinematic, although how much this is possible depends on how focused I need to be. I also manually transcribe all subtitles.
I also try to remove as many obvious indicators that you're viewing a game instead of a traditional movie. In this case I also used a mod to remove almost all of the HUD, although I needed to use VFX in a few key areas. I also made of VFX to improve continuity between some scenes towards the end, where the game played those scenes at different times, so the character looked slightly different between shots. This was an intensive process that required over 30 VFX shots to get the look I was going for.
