I'm back! This video is also available with just the ambient sounds.
If you aren't on my facebook page, you are probably wondering what happened?! Well, my dear... just life. I had some very time sensitive issues that had to be taken care of. And guess what??? I totally adulted and took care of them :D And I can now make videos again! No... more than 1 a month probably won't happen.. but you can expect me to appear at least once a month.
And if you are wondering, my client this time is my husband! He hasn't been in a video for such a long time that it was way past time for him to make an appearance again... and he needed to be relaxed. He had a few serious knots that I needed to work out. I've already told him that he will also be in one of my next videos. :)
This one was inspired from the 2 winners from last December. 1 wanted a video that did not have a bunch of random exterior sounds (but only my voice narrating a massage) so I kept the ambient sounds pretty low and focused on the vocal descriptions. The other wanted to see the neck, head and face pampered. Sorry... no face in this one but I promise to make that a priority in the next few months.
Oh how I have missed you guys!
P.S. I remember when it actually used to be important for me to note that I was not a massage therapist. So, for old times sake (since this is a classic asmr massage), let me say... I STILL am not a massage therapist. I am a physics teacher, home inspector, mechanical engineer (by degree only), real estate dabbler, and most importantly, mom and wife.... but also an asmrist.
P.P.S. OH... and when you are making an asmr video that is over 30 minutes long... make sure that the device that is recording your sound doesn't quit after 9min 55seconds because it's out of memory. Because if that happens, you will have about 2 minutes of extreme satisfaction when you are done recording before you throw yourself on the nearest horizontal surface after you realize that your sd card had insufficient memory for the entire massage.
Yes... this was try #2. Amazingly enough, my husband did not complain about having to do the whole thing over again. He's such a team player.
