Studio Wildcard has confirmed that ARK: Tides of Fortune’s enormous Galleon will arrive in August alongside the final Astraeos update.
This superfortress-sized ship will support more than 300 player-built structures, making it one of the largest mobile bases ever introduced to ARK: Survival Ascended.
New technical systems are also being developed that will increase the number of structures players can place on ships by up to four times, depending on the ship class. This should allow survivors to create even larger and more elaborate floating bases once the Galleon is ready to leave port.
We also have an important update regarding ship repairs. Repairs made through the Shipyard’s multi-use wheel may currently be broken on some platforms, but players should still be able to repair their vessel through the Ship’s own multi-use wheel while Studio Wildcard investigates.
Following the huge number of players jumping into Genesis Part 1, another batch of Official Genesis servers is expected to launch on Monday, July 20, during the evening Pacific Time. These will include PvP, PvE, Small Tribes and Console Small Tribes servers.
