I would like to express my apologies to Mr. Ahmad Attia for any communications I have
made in online video broadcasts or social media posts in which I stated or inferred that Mr.
Attia took part in a prayer session at which antisemitic utterances were made or that Mr.
Attia and his family members are connected to extremism.
The communications described above were untrue and based on unjustified and
unsubstantiated claims. I now understand that Mr. Attia is a respected community leader
and sincerely regret having defamed him.
I regret that my actions have harmed Mr. Attia and apologize to him and his family without
reservation.”
