At SXSW London, Anthony and Joe Russo said Avengers: Doomsday is currently in post-production and Avengers: Secret Wars is in pre-production, with the directors joined by AGBO partner and Fortnite creator Donald Mustard as they discussed their return to the MCU and AGBO’s first co-producer credit alongside Disney and Marvel. The Russos said their relationship with Marvel has been “very fruitful,” emphasized how important the audience experience is to them, and described storytelling as “the last unifier we have,” as anticipation builds for Doomsday ahead of its planned December 2026 release.
