The next song in our Abbey Road cover series!
“Angels” by The XX is simply beautiful - and we wanted to keep its purity and space in our cover arrangement. The original version is already perfect, so we aimed to stay as true to it as possible and use a similar, minimalist approach. We decided to keep Angels almost entirely a cappella, exchanging some of their guitar and bass parts with vocals, then some vibraphone and cello.
