This week we end our first season of What's the Difference on a spectacular high with a guest who has cooked for not one but two iconic South African leaders (and yes, we will name-drop Madiba here) and is custodian of a cheffing career that has spanned more than 30 years.
With an incredible wealth of knowledge and a passion for traditional South African cuisine, Andile Somdaka joins hosts Sibongile Mafu and Steve Steinfeld to talk about the recipes passed down through generations of his family, cooking for Madiba and founding his own restaurant, Eziko, which celebrates South African flavours. We give this conversation two thumbs up – it is most definitely chicken soup for the soul.
Then Marisa Munroe from the Woolies product development team is back in the cold seat to impart even more Woolies kitchen secrets, chief among them what gives Woolies rotisserie chicken its cult status (hint: 🧈)
